Nate Pollnow — Wisconsin's Next Secretary of State
A farmer running to open Madison's books to the people who pay the bills
A farmer running to open Madison's books to the people who pay the bills

Nate is a lifelong Wisconsinite, a second-generation beef farmer, an avid hunter, and an auctioneer. He and his wife Esther have been married for 20 years and are raising their two kids on the family farm in the Town of Elba, where Nate served as Town Board Chairman.
Nate is running for Secretary of State in the upcoming Wisconsin elections for a simple reason: he's tired of being lied to. The Wisconsin Secretary of State is meant to be Wisconsin's record keeper, but right now you practically need a law degree to find out what Madison is doing with your money. Nate's going to fix that with open records, plain English, and no runaround.

As the Wisconsin Secretary of State, Nate chairs the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands, which oversees nearly 77,000 acres of school trust lands and manages more than $1.3 billion in school trust funds that benefit public schools and libraries. Through its loan program, the Board has financed local projects across all 72 counties. As he prepares for the Wisconsin elections in 2026, Nate will ensure that the funds — and the records associated with them — serve every corner of Wisconsin, not just Madison and Milwaukee.
Governor Evers used a partial veto to lock in property tax increases for 400 years. He has issued more pardons than any governor in state history. Regardless of your opinion on these decisions, it's important to be informed about them. As the Wisconsin Secretary of State for 2026, Nate will create a public registry of every rule, pardon, and enacted law — searchable, free, and presented in a way that a regular person can easily understand. This transparency is crucial for Wisconsin elections and for holding our leaders accountable.

Thousands of Wisconsinites signed to put Nate on the ballot. Now comes the expensive part — yard signs, mailers, gas money, and getting Nate in front of voters in all 72 counties before the August 11 primary.
Nate isn't a career politician with a donor rolodex. He's a farmer running against Madison insiders, and every dollar comes from people like you.
